Request a Six Labors Community License Key

Organizations that qualify under the Six Labors Split License may apply here for a Six Labors Community license key.
This program is open to:

  • Open-source or source-available projects
  • Non-profit or registered charities
  • For-profit and under USD 1M annual gross revenue

Eligible open-source, source-available, and hobbyist applications receive a full community key automatically. Other applications are evaluated for approval and may receive a trial key while awaiting review. Existing license holders must follow the renewal guidance below.

Only eligible organizations should apply.

Renewing your community license

Submit this form again using the same email address to renew your community license. Apply to renew during the final 90 days before the expiry date recorded in your license. Open-source and source-available projects must include the exact assembly names with each application.

Existing community license holders can request one early replacement with an assembly-scoped key. Later requests follow the normal renewal window. Commercial licenses are not eligible for this early replacement.

Add the exact AssemblyName of each project that will use the license. Names are case-sensitive.

For example, if your project sets:

<!-- The value below is the assembly name to enter in this form. -->
<AssemblyName>MyProject.Core</AssemblyName>

Enter MyProject.Core.

If AssemblyName is not set, use the project filename without .csproj: MyProject.Core.csproj becomes MyProject.Core.

An assembly-scoped community license can be committed to your public project repository.

At least one assembly name is required for open-source applications.

Open-source and source-available applications must link directly to a repository on a recognized public source-code host, such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Codeberg, SourceHut, SourceForge, Launchpad, or Azure DevOps.
Optional. An official registration number, such as a company number, CNPJ, or charity number, helps us verify your organization.
Please include as much relevant information as you can. We review each submission and provide community licenses for free, so make an effort to help us understand your eligibility.
Required for commercial applications.
